Tuesday, August 16th, 2016
Carmel’s premier autoshow presenting antique “marquee” vehicles all presented throughout the city streets. This is a free event, and everyone is welcome to stroll the streets and mingle with the car owners. Little Napoli, Vino Napoli and Vesuvio are host to many of the car owners and judges. Make plans to be part of the action and make reservations early.

An exclusive, one-of-a-kind event combining the passion of fine automobiles with the Faith and the Palate in the “central courtyard” of the historic Carmel Mission, all while enjoying wine from some of Monterey County’s finest vineyards. This event benefits the charities of the Knights of Columbus Carmel Mission Council 4593 and is sure to be an unmissable time!

Once each year, on the third Sunday in August, about 200 of the most prized collector cars and motorcycles in the world roll the famed eighteenth fairway at Pebble Beach. Tire meets turf and transformation occurs: the stage is set for one of the most competitive events in the automotive world. The occasion is the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Pèppoli at the Inn at Spanish Bay is the featured restaurant for the car collectors, and many of these million dollar works of art are on display in front of the hotel also.

The 7th annual Carmel Authors and Ideas Festival will bring to Carmel-by-the-Sea more than 35 award winning authors and speakers, including authors of New York Times best-sellers, Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winners, as well as winners of virtually every prestigious literary award and much more. Little Napoli and Vesuvio have been involved since it’s inception, and we are proud to continue to be a supporting sponsor.

The 4th annual Carmel Art and Film promises to be our most exciting yet. The event fills five exciting days of independent film complemented by contemporary art and music. Films are shown throughout the village and at various times. Please check the website for more information. Vesuvio Restaurant and Bar is the hot spot for filmmakers and guests to gather and share stories about their experiences at the festival.

One of North America’s finest and longest running auto racing series, the Pirelli World Challenge, will crown their 2016 champions at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The popular series boasts a paddock of more than 70 race cars and consists of six classes of vehicles.

The Callaway Golf Pebble Beach Invitational attracts professional and amateur golfers of all stripes to Pebble Beach. The Invitational gives spectators a special chance to watch their favorite golfers in a more intimate and relaxed environment; viewers can even walk down the fairway right behind the golfers.
